Metrobase.com.au (a combination of "metropolitan" and "database") is an open and data-driven platform focused on commercial real estate, covering office, retail, development sites, large format retail, supermarkets, and more. The initial phase is focused on gathering sales and rental evidence, with a long-term vision of developing automated market insights and trend analysis to support investors, developers, agents, and valuers.

Metrobase is still in its early days, but the goal is to build it into a useful resource for the industry—centralizing key market insights and making commercial property data more accessible and actionable.

About the Creator

Metrobase is solely published by Miguel Escobar, a soon-to-be valuer with previous experience as a property analyst. Based in Melbourne, Miguel brings a unique blend of skills to the property industry. With a background as an architect in Mexico and experience in GIS and programming, his strengths lie in the integration of real estate, finance, and technology—combining technical expertise with market insight to create data-driven solutions for the commercial property sector.
